Fantic Unveils Rhapsody MY27: Carbon E-Enduro with Bosch CX Gen5 and 800 Wh Battery cover

Italian manufacturer Fantic has announced the Rhapsody MY27, a new full-power e-enduro that completes the brand’s revamped mountain range alongside the Sierra and Ridge trail models. The bike pairs a fully carbon frame with the latest Bosch Performance Line CX Gen5 motor, configured to deliver up to 120 Nm of torque.

Energy comes from an 800 Wh battery integrated into the down tube. Unlike many fixed-battery carbon designs, the pack remains removable — it slides out through a latch on the underside of the frame, avoiding a large access hatch that could compromise stiffness. An optional 250 Wh range extender is available for longer days out.

The rear suspension uses a Horst-link pivot positioned coaxially with the rear axle, an arrangement Fantic says reduces the influence of braking forces on suspension performance. The leverage curve has been made more progressive, aiming for a sensitive initial stroke with stronger support deeper in the travel, and pedal kickback has reportedly been reduced — though the company has not yet published detailed kinematics data.

Three builds will be offered, all with 180 mm forks. The entry-level Rhapsody Sport (€6,490) runs a RockShox Domain Gold R and mechanical SRAM Eagle 70. The Race (€7,990) upgrades to a ZEB Select, Vivid shock and GX T-Type AXS Transmission, while the flagship Factory (€9,990) gets a Fox 38 Factory, Float X2 and SRAM X0 T-Type AXS. Frame sizes span S through XL; a concrete delivery date for the 2027 model year has not been confirmed. Claimed weights also remain unpublished.
