Bavarian manufacturer Corratec has unveiled the E-Power RS C, a new carbon full-suspension e-MTB series for the 2027 season — and it joins the rapidly growing club of European brands adopting DJI’s Avinox drive system. The M2S motor at the heart of both new models delivers up to 150 Nm of torque in Boost mode, fed by an 800 Wh battery fully integrated into the down tube.
The platform is shared across the range: an RS carbon frame with 160 mm of rear travel, 29-inch wheels, and geometry that Corratec says balances technical climbing ability with stability on fast descents. Frame sizes S, M and L will be offered.
Two builds separate the lineup. The flagship E-Power RS C Factory pairs a Fox Factory suspension package — a 36 Float fork with Grip X2 damper up front and a Float shock in the rear — with SRAM’s electronic GX AXS T-Type 12-speed drivetrain, Maven Silver four-piston brakes, and the electronically controlled Fox Transfer Neo dropper post. DT Swiss HX1700 wheels roll on 60 mm Continental Kryptotal tires. The more affordable E-Power RS C Pro keeps the same frame and motor but switches to RockShox suspension, a mechanical 12-speed drivetrain and a revised four-piston brake setup.
The launch underlines how quickly Avinox has moved from outsider to mainstream in the European market, following recent adoptions by BH, Forbidden, Maxx and Rocky Mountain. For riders shopping full-power trail platforms, the torque race shows no sign of slowing.
