Raymon Bicycles is adopting an unusually broad multi-motor strategy for model year 2027, with e-bikes using drive systems from Bosch, Yamaha, Avinox, Panasonic and OLI. The German brand will support the expanded portfolio with a nine-stop technical training tour for retailers in Germany and Austria during October.

The Raymon Tech-Days will focus particularly on the newer Avinox, Panasonic and OLI platforms. Panasonic and OLI specialists are expected to lead key training sessions, while Raymon’s own team will cover service knowledge, technical differences and the practical requirements of selling and maintaining bikes across several electronic ecosystems.

The approach reflects a wider shift in the European e-bike market. Rather than relying on a single dominant supplier, manufacturers are increasingly matching motors to specific categories and price points. Raymon’s 2027 program ranges from utility and everyday models to all-road, SUV and high-performance e-MTB platforms. Its Panasonic partnership, for example, includes the GXM system for full-suspension SUV and all-road bikes, while Avinox targets the high-output performance segment.

For customers, the broader choice could deliver more specialized bikes and stronger competition between drive makers. It also raises the importance of dealer training: diagnostics, software, batteries and replacement parts differ significantly between systems. Raymon’s investment in technical education suggests that after-sales capability is becoming as important as headline torque and battery capacity.
